Manually Printing Patient Records
Manually Printing Patient Records
You can print the current data for the patient being monitored, or you can print up to 50
saved records for one patient.
Printing the Record for the Current Patient
You can print the data for the patient currently being monitored by touching the Print
icon on the toolbar while monitoring.
Alarm messages are included on the printout.
EWS scores and QuickCapture observations and assessments are not included, even if
EWS or QuickCapture is enabled on your monitor.
To cancel the current printout, touch the Print icon while a record is being printed.
For information on adjusting how waveforms are printed, see “Managing Printed
Waveforms” on page 13-6.
Printing Saved Patient Records
You can print one or more saved records for a patient.
If EWS and/or QuickCapture is configured on your monitor, the printout includes EWS
data and/or QuickCapture observations and assessments.
To print one or more saved records for a patient
1 On the main screen, touch the Records button on the toolbar.
The Records menu opens.
2 If the Pending Records tab is displayed, touch the Patient Records tab to open it.
The tab lists all patients for whom there are saved records.
3 Locate and touch the list item for the patient whose records you want to print.
All saved records for the selected patient are displayed.
4 Touch the Print icon.
The Print Patient Data menu opens.
5 Touch the button for the number of records you want to print:
- Most Recent
- 10 Records
- 20 Records
- 30 Records
- 40 Records
- 50 Records
The records are printed.
To cancel the current printout, touch the Print icon while a record is being printed.
