The EarlyVue VS30 Monitor
Right Side
The right side of the monitor provides the
On/Standby button and the LED indicators.
If your monitor includes the optional print recorder, you access recorder printouts on the
right side of the monitor. The door opens to enable replacement of the recorder paper
roll. See Chapter 13, “Printing,” for more information.
The battery compartment door is also located on the right side of the monitor.
Caution
Do not attempt to change the battery in your monitor. Battery service must be performed by trained
service personnel.
On/Standby button
Press once to turn the monitor on
(or wake the monitor from Deep
Sleep mode).
When monitor is on, press to
enter Standby mode or Deep
Sleep mode. See “On/Standby
Mode” on page 2-12 and “Deep
Sleep Mode” on page 2-12.
When in Standby or Deep Sleep
mode, press to restart the
monitor.
Charging LED
The charging LED is lit when a
battery is installed and charging,
Its color indicates the charging
status of the battery. For more
information, see “Understanding,
Charging, and Maintaining the
Battery” on page 2-7.
AC Power LED
When lit, the AC Power LED
indicates that the monitor is
connected to an AC power
source.
