EarlyVue VS30 Instructions for Use 2-15
Mounting the Monitor
Mounting the Monitor
The monitor can be safely carried using the integrated carry handle, but in most
situations it is more practical to mount the monitor on a roll stand or a wall mount.
Caution
The monitor must be properly secured and balanced on the mounting fixture to avoid injury to
patients, staff, or bystanders.
Properly secure the monitor and cables when in use to avoid tripping or other injury to patients, staff,
or bystanders.
Do not place the monitor in any position that might cause it to fall on the patient.
Do not place the monitor in a position where the patient or staff could inadvertently cause it to fall
and be damaged.
If your monitor is mounted on a roll stand:
Use the handle on the roll stand to move the monitor.
Do not use the monitor handle to move the monitor. Doing so creates stress on the mounting
bracket and could cause the monitor to fall off the roll stand or cause the roll stand to
overbalance or tip.
Use the wheel locks to keep the roll stand stationary when monitoring a patient or storing the
monitor.
Disconnect the power cord from the power source before moving the monitor. Do not pull on the
power cord to disconnect; grasp the plug itself.
Note
The weight of objects placed in the roll stand basket must not exceed 3.6 kg (8 lb).
For information on mounting the monitor, see the Instructions for Use provided with the
mounting hardware.
