Editing Patient Information
You can edit patient information, except Patient Type, for the current patient or for a
record in the Pending Records menu. You cannot edit records that have already been
saved with a primary ID, or have already been exported to the EMR.
You can edit patient information using a barcode scanner or the on-screen keyboard. Use
the same method you used when you admitted the patient. For more information, see
“Methods for Entering and Editing Patient Information” on page 3-13.
Editing Information for the Current Patient
To open the Edit Patient Menu for the current patient (if that patient has been assigned
a primary ID), touch the patient ID or patient type on the patient bar of the main screen,
then touch Edit.
