Viewing Records
To open the Records menu and view a record in the Patient Records tab
1 Touch the Records button on the main screen.
The Records menu opens, displaying the Patient Records tab, which lists each
patient who has been saved with a primary ID.
Note
If there are pending records (indicated by a red circle next to the Records button),
the Records menu opens with the Pending Records tab displayed by default. You
must touch the Patient Records tab to open it,
2 Locate the patient whose record you want to view.
By default, the patient with the most recent record is at the top of the list. You can
sort the patients list by another parameter, such as Patient Name, by touching the
relevant column heading. You can reverse the sort order in that column by touching
the column heading again.
If the record is not currently visible on the screen, use the scroll bar.
3 Touch the patient record.
A list appears showing all vital signs records saved for that patient, with the most
recent record at the top of the list.
Any measurement that generated an alarm during monitoring is enclosed by a
rectangle in the record.
If the fields in the record do not fit on the screen, a right-arrow appears at the right of
the screen to enable you to scroll to the next page.
4 Touch the vital signs record to expand it and view detailed information.
5 When you are done viewing the detailed record, touch the up arrow at lower right of
the record to collapse it.
You are returned to the list of all vital signs records for the patient.
6 To close the list of vital signs records, touch the Back button at upper left.
You are returned to the list of all patients.
