Working with Patient Records
Deleting Records
To delete selected vital signs records for a patient in the Patient Records tab
1 With the Patient Records tab open, locate and touch the patient entry for which you
want to delete one ore more vital signs records.
A list appears showing all vital signs records saved for that patient.
2 Touch the check boxes to the left of the records to select the individual records you
want to delete.
Note
To keep the patient in the database, the check box for at least one vital signs record
must be cleared (not selected). If you select all vital signs records, the entire patient
record will be deleted from the database and the patient will be removed from the
Patient Records tab.
3 Touch the Delete button.
4 Touch OK in the confirmation window that opens.
The selected vital signs records are deleted from the patient record.
5 Touch the Back button at upper left to return to the Patient Records tab.
To delete one patient from the Patient Records tab
1 With the Patient Records tab open, locate and touch the patient entry you want to
delete.
A list appears, showing all vital signs records saved for that patient.
2 Touch the topmost check box at the left of the list so that all check boxes become
selected.
3 Touch OK in the confirmation window that opens.
The entire patient record is deleted from the database and the patient is removed
from the Patient Records tab.
4 Touch the Delete button.
The selected records are deleted.
5 Touch the back arrow at upper left to return to the Patient Records tab.
The patient is no longer listed.
To delete all patients from the Patient Records tab
1 With the Patient Records tab open, touch the Delete All button.
2 Touch OK in the confirmation window that opens.
All patient records are deleted.
