Problem Cause Solution
The timer light
does not go on
when the timer is
set.
The light is defective. Take the appliance to your Philips dealer or a service
centre authorised by Philips.
The cake does not
bake properly.
The quantity of
ingredients was too
large.
Check the quantities mentioned in the recipe in the
section ‘Baking cake’.
The rice is cooked
too hard.
Not enough water
was used for cooking
rice.
Add slightly more water to the level indicated on the
cale inside the inner pot that corresponds to the
number of cups of rice used. Make sure the water
does not exceed the next level on the scale as this
may cause overow during cooking.
The incorrect menu
has been selected.

The rice is cooked
too soft.
Too much water was
used for cooking rice.
