INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR SENSORS
MAGNETIC SENSOR (PERIMETER)
CHARACTERISTICS:
The wireless magnetic sensor protects the vehicle perimeter by detecting the opening of doors/windows, which is detected when the
magnet moves away from the detector. When this happens, the detector's internal LED ashes.
The magnet and detector must be properly installed as described below.
INSTALLATION:
The magnetic sensors should be installed as shown in the diagrams below. If necessary, the bracket can be added for optimal alignment
between the magnet and the detector. The magnet must be installed on the moving part of the door or window to be protected.
N.B. For optimum operation, position the magnet to the left of the detector, taking the arrow on
the battery cover as a reference
, as shown in Fig. 1.
EPLACING THE BATTERY
1) Remove the battery cover at the front of the sensor.
2) Replace the battery, taking care to observe polarity.
3) Close the battery cover.
TEST:
1) Once installation is complete, try to open the door or window where the sensor is installed and check that the internal LED lights up
correctly (the internal LED ashes when it detects an opening).
2) If necessary, reposition the two components to optimise their operation.
