The reserve fuel, turn indicator and hazard warning
lights are activated by the electronics of the instrument.
For example, the fuel reserve warning light comes on
only when the reserve fuel indication from the fuel tank
lasts a minimum of 13.5 seconds. This prevents the
warning light from blinking when the engine begins
running on reserve fuel.
- The flashing function is built in the electronics of the
instrument, which allows the hazard warning lights to
work when the ignition switch is in the "OFF" position
and the control switch is disabled. The control switch
is active only when the instrument panel is powered.
For greater riding safety, the "turn indicator control"
function is connected to the speedometer. If the turn
indicators are inadvertently left on, the function is
automatically deactivated after covering 1 kilometre.
- The "engine disabled" warning light is activated by the
sidestand switch and the emergency switch located
on the right handlebar.
- The indication "brake light bulb burnt-out" is activated
when at least two of the five bulbs fail to operate.
- The warning light is controlled by a device that meas-
ures the current drawn by the brake light circuit.
- The liquid crystal display shows a 5-digit total mileage
count in either kilometres or miles. Naturally, the
mileage counter can never be reset. To select the
unit, press the "Trip" and "M" buttons at the same
time and then turn the ignition switch to the "ON"
position. If the two buttons are depressed for
longer than three seconds, the word "SET" is
initially displayed and then the unit toggles be-
tween kilometres and miles.
La señalización de reserva de gasolina; indicadores de
dirección y destello de emergencia son accionadas a
traves de Ia electrónica del instrumento. Por ejemplo la
bombilla testigo de reserva de gasolina se enciende
solo cuando el indicador de la reserva procedente del
depósito continúa por lo menos 13,5 segundos. Esto
evita el encendido de forma intermitente del testigo
cuando llegamos a la reserva.
- La función intermitente está incorporada en la elec-
trónica del instrumento: ésto permite el funciona-
miento de las luces de emergencia con conmutador
en posición "OFF" e interruptor de mando desconec-
tado. El interruptor de mando se activa solo con el
cuadro encendido.
Con el objeto de garantizar la seguridad durante el
viaje, la función " accionamiento indicadores de direc-
ción ", está conectada al cuentakilómetros. En el caso
que se olvide la señalización conectada, ésta se des-
conecta automaticamente después de 1 kilómetro de
recorrido.
- La luz testigo "motor no habilitado" se activa por
intermedio del interruptor del caballete lateral y el de
emergencia colocado en el lado derecho del manillar.
- La señalización de "bombilla stop fundida" se activa
cuando llegan a quemarse por lo menos 2 de los
cinco bombilla stop fundida.
- El encendido del bombillo testigo es activada por
intermedio de un circuito que mide la absorción del
bombilla stop fundida.
- El display prevee una indicación de 5 dígitos para el
recorrido totalizado por el vehículo. Esto se puede
expresar en kilómetros o en millas: naturalménte ésta
indicación no se puede anular nunca llevándola a
cero. Para seleccionar la indicación es necesario
apretar al mismo tiempo los pulsadores "Trip" y
"M" y luego girar el conmutador de llave en
posición "ON"; manteniendo apretados éstos
dos pulsadores por mas de 3" visualizamos
inicialmente la palabra "SET" en el display, luego
la conmutación de los recorridos de millas a
kilómetros o al contrario.
