Renewing the engine oil and the cartridge filter
- Loosen the oil filler cap/dipstick.
- Unscrew the gauze strainer drain plug on the flywheel
side and allow the oil to drain completely.
- Unscrew the cartridge filter by the two projections and
remove it.
- Install a new oil filter taking care to lubricate the filter
O-ring with engine oil.
- Retighten the drain plug and pour in ~ 600-650 cc of
oil.
- Start the engine, let it idle for a few minutes and then
switch it off again.
- Wait a few minutes and then unscrew the cap/dipstick
and check the level. Add oil of the prescribed type to
the MAX level.
Checking the level
- Put the vehicle on the stand on level ground (cold
engine).
- Remove the cap/dipstick from the fully tightened
position and check that the oil level is between the
MAX and MIN marks.
- The MAX level mark corresponds to approximately
1,000 cc of oil in the engine.
- If the oil level is under the MAX mark, top up without
exceeding the MAX level.
Recommended oil: Selenia HI Scooter 4 Tech.
Sustitución aceite motor y filtro de cartucho
- Aflojar la tapa / varilla del rellenado de aceite.
- Destornillar el tapón de descarga del filtro de red lado
magneto, y dejar salir todo el aceite.
- Destornillar el filtro de aceite de cartucho utilizando
las dos partes sobresalientes y extraerlo.
- Instalar un filtro nuevo lubricando antes el O-ring del
filtro con el aceite del motor.
- Volver a montar el tapón de vaciado y rellenar con ~
600-650 cc de aceite.
- Arrancar el motor y dejarlo girar por algunos minutos
y luego apagarlo.
- Esperar algunos minutos, luego enroscar el tapón
con varilla y verificar el nivel. Rellenar con el aceite
recomendado hasta llegar al nivel MAX.
Control del nivel
- Trasladar el vehículo sobre un terreno plano y colo-
carlo sobre el caballete (con el motor frio).
- Extaer la tapa con varilla de la posición completa-
mente enrroscada y verificar que el nivel del aceite
esté comprendido entre las marcas MAX. y MIN.
- La referencia del nivel MAX indica una cantidad de
aceite de ~ 1000 cc de aceite motor.
- En el caso que el nivel del aceite esté por debajo del
nivel MAX, agregar aceite sin superar nunca el nivel
MAX.
Aceite aconsejado: Selenia HI Scooter 4 Tech.
Substituição óleo motor e filtro cartucho
- Soltar a tampa/haste de carga de óleo.
- Desaparafusar a tampa de descarga do filtro de rede
lado volante e deixar o óleo defluir completamente.
- Desaparafusar o filtro óleo tipo cartucho utilizando as
duas alças que sobressaem e removê-lo.
- Instalar um novo filtro de óleo tendo o cuidado de
lubrificar o O-Ring de vedação do filtro com óleo
motor.
- Aparafusar novamente a tampa de descarga e en-
cher com ~ 600-650 cm

de óleo.
- Dar partida ao motor e fazê-lo girar por alguns minu-
tos, em seguida desligá-lo.
- Aguardar alguns minutos, em seguida tirar a tampa-
haste e verificar o nível. Completar com o óleo
prescrito até alcançar o nível MAX.
Verificação do nível
- Posicionar o veículo em terreno plano, colocando-o
sobre o cavalete (com o motor frio).
- Remover a tampa/haste da posição completamente
rosqueada e verificar que o nível do óleo esteja
compreendido entre os índices de MAX e MIN.
- A referência de nível MAX indica uma quantidade de
~ 1000 cm

de óleo no motor.
- Caso o nível do óleo esteja abaixo do nível MAX,
proceder ao reabastecimento, acrescentando óleo
sem nunca ultrapassar, porém, o nível MAX.
Óleo aconselhado: Selenia HI Scooter 4 Tech.
