The Pifco 12" Manual Tower Fan is designed to provide cooling airflow for domestic use. It offers two speed settings (High and Low) and an oscillation function to distribute air across a wider area. The fan can operate statically or with oscillation.

Usage Features:
The fan is operated via a control dial located on the top panel.
- Turning ON/OFF: To turn the appliance on, plug it into a mains outlet and ensure the socket switch is ON. Move the control dial to any position other than 'Off' to begin operation. To turn it off, move the control dial to the 'Off' position.
- Speed Selection: The fan offers two speeds: High and Low. To select a desired speed, move the control dial to the 'Low' setting for low speed or the 'High' setting for high speed.
- Oscillation Function: The fan's two speeds can be used statically or with oscillation. To activate oscillation, move the control dial to the 'Low Oscillation' position for low speed with oscillation, or to the 'High Oscillation' position for high power with oscillation. To deactivate oscillation and resume static operation, move the control dial back to the 'High' or 'Low' position.
- First Use: Before first use, remove the unit from its packaging. The appliance is then ready for normal use. Packaging should be disposed of responsibly.
- Safety Precautions:

Maintenance Features:
- Cleaning:
- Always switch off the appliance and remove the plug from the electrical socket before cleaning.
- To clean the outside of the fan, wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Use a dry cloth to polish if desired.
- NEVER use abrasive cleaning materials.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Storage: When not in use, store the fan (preferably in its original box) in a cool, clean, and dry location.
- Wiring Safety (UK Use Only):
- The mains lead wires are coloured blue (neutral) and brown (live).
- Blue wire connects to the terminal marked [N] or coloured black.
- Brown wire connects to the terminal marked [L] or coloured red.
- NEVER connect either wire to the [EARTH] terminal.
- Ensure the cord grip is fastened correctly.
- The plug must be fitted with an ASTA approved fuse (BS 1362) of the same rating.
- For non-rewireable mains plugs, if the fuse needs replacing, use an ASTA approved one (BS 1362) of the same rating.
- If removing a non-rewireable plug, disconnect it from the mains, cut it off the lead, and dispose of it safely. DO NOT reuse the plug or insert it into a socket outlet.
- WARNING: This appliance is double insulated. Do not connect any wire to the earth terminal.
- WARNING: DO NOT immerse any electrical part of the appliance in water, such as motor units or plugs.
Troubleshooting:
- Unit not working: Check if the unit is plugged in and the socket switch is ON. Ensure the control dial is not in the 'OFF' position.
- Minimal/No cooling effect: Check if the speed setting is too low. Remove any heat sources from the surrounding area. Close any open windows in the surrounding area.
Warranty and Support:
- The product is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of original purchase against defects due to faulty materials or workmanship. Faulty products must be returned to the place of purchase.
