The PIFCO 12 IN 1 STEAM MOP, model PS012N, is a versatile electrical appliance designed for household cleaning. Its primary function is to generate steam for sanitizing and cleaning various surfaces, offering a more efficient alternative to conventional cleaning methods. The "12 in 1" designation highlights its multi-purpose capability, allowing it to transform from a long mop-type steamer to a handheld steamer for different cleaning tasks.
Technical Specifications:
- Model: PS012N
- Rated Voltage: 220V-240V ~ 50/60Hz
- Power Consumption: 1500 Watts
- Water Capacity: 400ml
- Waterproof Level: IPX4
Function Description:
The steam mop operates by heating water in its tank to produce steam, which is then directed through various attachments to clean and sanitize surfaces. It is designed to remove stubborn stains and sanitize work surfaces and floors. The appliance can be easily assembled and disassembled, transitioning between a floor mop and a handheld steamer.
Usage Features:
General Operation:
- Assembly: The handle sections are assembled by pushing the tube into the main body until the locking spring engages. Disassembly involves pushing a button and pulling the tube out. The pad is fitted onto the base and secured with a drawstring.
- Filling the Water Tank: Before filling, the unit must be disconnected from the wall socket. The cap is removed by turning it anti-clockwise. Water (up to 400ml) is poured into the tank using the provided filling cup and funnel. Only water should be used; hot water or chemicals are explicitly prohibited. For hard water areas, bottled or distilled water is recommended to prevent limescale buildup.
- Power On/Off: After filling, the power button is turned on. A red light indicates the boiler is heating the water, and the pump will engage to produce steam. To switch off, the power switch is set to the off position, then the unit is unplugged and allowed to cool.
- Steam Output Control: The steam output can be adjusted according to preference.
- Water Tank Empty Indication: When the water tank is empty, the pump will make a noise and shake. The appliance should be switched off immediately and refilled.
- Pre-cleaning: It is recommended to sweep or vacuum floors before using the steam mop.
- Cord Management: The quick release cord holder allows for easy unwrapping of the power cord.
Mop Function (Floor Cleaning):
- Microfibre Cleaning Pad: The steam mop must always be used with the microfibre cleaning pad securely attached to the mop head. Never use it without the pad or without water in the tank.
- Carpet Glider: For use on carpets or rugs, the carpet glider is placed onto the base with the pad covering it, and the retaining clips fix it into position. To remove, gently pull on the outer rim of the glider.
Hand-held Steamer Function (12-in-1 Versatility):
The appliance transforms into a portable handheld steamer by removing the extension handle and curved handle from the main body, and the mop head. This mode is ideal for cleaning work surfaces, countertops, sinks, windows, mirrors, tiles, and for spot cleaning on floors, carpets, and rugs.
