Control Codes
Some of the characters from the IBM character set that cannot be represented (range 00
H
to 1F
H
) are used as control codes for control commands in monitor mode. The table
below shows which characters have which function.

07 7 ^ G Move cursor one place to the left
08 8 ^ H Reserved
09 9 ^ I Move cursor one place to the right
0A 10 ^ J Move cursor down one line
0B 11 ^ K Move cursor up one line
0C 12 ^ L Move cursor to start of first line
0D 13 ^ M Move cursor to start of line
0E 14 ^ N Cursor invisible (default)
0F 15 ^ O Cursor visible
10 16 ^ P Reserved
11 17 ^ Q Clear display, cursor invisible
