Memorizing other manufacturers’ signals (Learning mode)
If your equipment does not set properly in the preset mode, set its remote control signals in this mode. Even if your
equipment set properly in the preset mode, remote control signals of additional functions can be set. (those not shown in
pages 24 to 27).
While pressing the
COMMANDER SET
UP button, press 1.

Return to normal operations.
* All multi control buttons will
go off.
Set the learning
mode.
Select the function
to be learned.
Select the button
of the function to
be learned using
the remote control
unit.
* Select from the
gray buttons in
the left figure of
the remote con-
trol unit.
Face the remote
control units at
each other. Press
the button of the
operation of the
other manufactur-
ers’ device to be
learned. (Press un-
til the multi control
button blinks.)

The remote control unit is ready
to memorize the operation in the
selected button.
* The multi control button of the
remote control unit stops
blinking and lights.
¶ The TV POWER, TV FUNC, VOL –
and + buttons can only be used
for learning when TV CONTROL
is selected.
¶ When TV CONTROL has been
selected, memorize the same re-
mote control signal into both TV
power and Power.
