Why is the No Coverage Indicator shown on the traffic display of my Piper Aircrafts?
- JJames DavenportAug 1, 2025
The No Coverage Indicator is shown on the traffic display because no TIS-B / ADS-R data is available in the area for Piper Aircrafts. Ensure the aircraft is within range of an ADS-B ground station; if not, move the aircraft to a location where information can be received. Also, a UAT-In test failure could cause this indicator after 60 seconds of test failure, or the 1090 Receiver may have failed. Try clearing the failure by cycling power to the unit and check the L-Band antenna or cables for possible errors. If the problem continues, replacement of the L-Band antenna or the unit may be required. It is recommended to contact L3 Field Service before removal.
