    • U
      ujuarezAug 12, 2025
If the burner on your Pit Boss Smokers will not light, it could be due to a broken ignition wire, no igniter spark on the electrode, or no gas supplied. For a broken ignition wire or no igniter spark, contact Customer Care for assistance or a replacement part; you can try adjusting the electrode. Also, check the regulator valve and connection for leaks to ensure gas is supplied.

Why is there a grease fire or frequent flare-ups in my Pit Boss PBV3G1?
    • T
      Thomas FisherAug 23, 2025
Grease fires or frequent flare-ups in your Pit Boss Smokers can occur if you are grilling fatty meats, cooking at too high a temperature, or spraying water on gas flames. Grill fatty meats when the cooking surface is cold, and the knobs are on the “LOW” setting. Attempt cooking at a lower temperature, keeping it under 176°C / 350°F when cooking highly greasy food. Check the burner tube and burner ports for spider webs or other obstructions. Empty the grease cup and re-install it.
