37Operating the system
In single solution mode, a high concentration cryoprotectant solution is injected into the sample
carrier to increase its concentration. A second pump is then used to extract the extra solution and
maintain a constant volume of cryoprotectant around the sample.
The meaning of some parameters will change depending on the selected operating mode. As such
you must select the appropriate mode using the Single solution checkbox on the configuration
window.
