12. Trouble-shooting
If your device fails to function as required,
please try this checklist first. Perhaps there is
only a minor problem, and you can solve it
yourself.
DANGER! Risk of electric
shock!
~ Do not attempt to repair the device your-
self under any circumstances.
Fault Possible causes / Action
Device does not start.
Has the control dial7 been pressed long enough
(approx. 5 sec.)?
Are the batteries flat?
Have the batteries been inserted correctly? (polari-
ty)
The device stops during opera-
tion.
Has the blender jug3 been properly inserted into
the base unit5?
Has the lid16 come off of the blender jug3?
The motor fails to run.
Has the lid16 of the blender jug3 been properly
closed?
Has the blender jug3 been properly inserted into
the base unit5?
Dropouts occur in respect of the
function, the indications on the
display or the acoustic signals.
Replace the old batteries with new ones.
Filled-in liquid emerges from be-
tween lid and blender jug.
Mind the maximum filling volume.
The device is rattling.
Check that the blade assembly12 and/or the mix-
er attachment13 are securely seated.
The mixing process fails to start in
Turbo and batter mode.
Replace the old batteries with new ones.
