MAINTENANCE AND LUBRICATION
Air F ilter Systems
1. Unlatch and remove the seat.
2. Loosen the intake duct clamp (1) on the
carburetor.
3. Pull the duct (2) off the carburetor.
4. Release the eight airbox cover clips (3) and
remove the cover (4).
5. Remove the air filter (5). Inspect and replace if
necessary.
6. Remove the pre-filter (6) and breather
filter (7). Wash both in soapy water,
then rinse, let dry and reinstall.
