Storage Recommendations
CAUTION
Starting the engine during the storage period will disturb the protective film created by
fogging and damage could occur . Never start the engine during the storage period.
Clean the Exterior
Make necessary repairs and then clean the ATV thoroughly as outlined on page 159.
Stabilize the Fuel
Add P olaris Carbon Clean Fuel Treatment or P olaris Fuel Stabilizer to the fuel tank,
following the instructions on the container for the recomme nded amount. Fill the fuel tank
with fuel. Allow 15-20 minutes of operation for the stabilize r to disperse through the fuel in
the tank and carburetor. T urn the fuel valve of f and drain the carbure tor bowl.
NOTE: Carbon Clean will also reduce the possibility of bacterial growth in the fuel system.
