IGNITION SWITCH
The ignition switch
q
is a three-
position, key-operated switch. Use
the ignition switch to start the
engine. See the Starting the Engine
section for starting procedures.
The key can be removed from the
switch when it is in the OFF position.
OFF ON START
The engine is off.
Electrical circuits are
off, except accessory
12V.
Electrical circuits are
on. Electrical equipment
can be used.
Turn the key to the
START position to
engage the electric
starter. The key returns
to the ON position when
released.
