What to do if my Polaris P94 Vacuum Cleaner doesn't move on startup?
    • R
      Ryan RiveraAug 4, 2025
If your Polaris Vacuum Cleaner doesn't move when you start it, there could be a few reasons. First, check that the outlet the control unit is connected to is actually supplying power. If the outlet is working, make sure you've started one of the two programs and that the indicator light for that program is on. If it still doesn't work, contact your local service representative.

    • D
      Daniel HoltAug 8, 2025
If the Cycle I and II program indicators flash alternately on your Polaris Vacuum Cleaner, it means the cleaner has encountered a problem during operation. Try these steps: Disconnect the control unit and wait 20 seconds before reconnecting it. Check that the floating cable is correctly connected to the control unit. Ensure no debris is blocking the brushes or propeller. Empty and clean the filter canister. Then, start a new cleaning program. If the issue persists, contact your local service representative.

      Robert PerryAug 12, 2025
If flashing indicator lights appear shortly after starting your Polaris Vacuum Cleaner, try these solutions: First, unplug the floating cable from the control unit and plug it back in to ensure it's properly connected. Next, make sure the cleaner is fully submerged and doesn't have any trapped air by submerging the cleaner following the procedure in Section 4.1, "Submerging the Cleaner". If the issue continues, turn the power off and then press either the Cycle I or II program buttons to begin a new cycle. If the propeller or wheels do not turn, contact your local service representative.

      David ArcherAug 17, 2025
If flashing lights appear during the cycle of your Polaris Vacuum Cleaner, it could be because the cleaner is sucking in air for an extended period (60 seconds or more). This might happen at the beach entry if the cleaner doesn't reverse correctly. Resubmerge the cleaner following the procedure in Section 4.1, "Submerging the Cleaner".

Why does my Polaris P94 Vacuum Cleaner seem to be performing less efficiently?
    • F
      Frank RayAug 21, 2025
Several factors can cause your Polaris Vacuum Cleaner to perform less efficiently. The brushes may be smooth or the wear indicator may be visible, meaning they need replacement. Also, check if the filter canister is full or dirty and clean it if necessary. Finally, ensure the floating cable is spread out in the pool and not excessively coiled or kinked. If it is, straighten it out or lay it in the sun to relax the kinks.

      Daniel McphersonAug 26, 2025

Why doesn't my Polaris P94 Vacuum Cleaner climb the pool sides?
    • D
      Donna HernandezAug 30, 2025
Your Polaris Vacuum Cleaner may not climb the pool sides for a couple of reasons. The filter canister might be full or dirty, in which case you should clean it following the procedure in Section 5.1, "Cleaning the Filter Canister". Alternatively, the pool sides could be slippery due to microscopic algae. If this is the case, perform a shock chlorination treatment and slightly reduce the pH, but be sure to remove the cleaner from the pool during this treatment. Check tires for wear and replace as necessary.
