Speed Cont rol Systems
Throttle Stop Speed Control System
Adjusting speed at the CDI is the recommended
method of speed control, but the throttle stop system
may also be used. Use t he following procedure to
control how far t he throttle opens.
1. Loosen the jam nut (A)
2. T urn the screw (B) inward to reduce speed or
outward to increase speed.
3. Tighten the jam nut after adjusting.
