Electronic Power Steering (EPS)
Electronic power steering (if
equipped) engages when the ignition
key is turned to the ON position. EPS
remains engaged whether the vehicle
is moving or idle.
The EPS warning indicator briefly
illuminates when the key is turned to
the ON position. See page 45.
To conserve battery power, the EPS
will shut down 5 minutes after the
engine is stopped if the key remains
in the ON position. The EPS warning
indicator will illuminate to indicate
the EPS has shut down.
If the light remains on after starting the engine, the EPS system is
inoperative. Your POLARIS dealer can assist.
