FLUID CHANGE
The drain plug
q
is located on the bottom of the gearcase. Access the drain
plug through the drain hole in the skid plate.
1. Remove the fill plug.
2. Place a drain pan under the drain plug.
3. Remove the drain plug. Allow the fluid to drain completely.
4. Clean the drain plug.
5. Reinstall the drain plug. Torque to specification (listed in the Gearcase
Specification Chart of this manual).
6. Add the recommended fluid (listed in the Gearcase Specification Chart) to
the bottom of the fill plug hole. Do not overfill.
7. Reinstall the fill plug. Torque to specification (listed in the Gearcase
Specification Chart).
8. Check for leaks. Discard used fluid properly.
