If your Polaris Offroad Vehicle engine turns over but fails to start, first, refuel it and cycle the key to the ON position three times for 5 seconds each, then try starting it. Also, inspect the spark plugs and replace them if needed. Ensure that the stop switch is on. If there is water in the fuel, drain the fuel system and refuel. Replace old fuel with fresh, recommended fuel. If the battery voltage is low, recharge the battery to 12.8 VDC.

Inspect and replace any kinked or plugged fuel vent lines. Replace any fuel that has water present with new fuel. Inspect, clean, and/or replace the spark plugs if they are fouled or defective. Check all ignition connections and tighten any loose connections. If the battery voltage is low, recharge the battery to 12.8 VDC. Replace incorrect fuel with fresh, recommended fuel. Drive belt wear or burn on your Polaris Offroad Vehicle can occur due to several reasons. To prevent this, always warm up the belt by operating below 30 mph for one mile (5 miles or more when the temperature is below freezing). Also, ensure you install the recommended belt. If the belt is slipping because of water or snow in the PVT system, dry out the PVT.
