MAINTENANCE AND LUBRICATION
Periodic Maintenance Chart
Maintenance intervals in the following chart are based upon average
riding conditions. Vehicles subjected to severe use must be inspected
and serviced more frequently.
Severe Use Definition
S Frequent immersion in mud, water or sand
S Racing or race-style high RPM use
S Prolonged low speed, heavy load operation
S Extended idle
S Short t rip cold weather operation
NOTE: Service and adjustments are critical. If you are not familiar
with safe service and adjustment procedures, have a
qualified Polaris dealer perform these operations.
The programmable service interval mode on the instrument cluster will
help determine when maintenance service is due. See page 54.
