5. Loosen the carburetor drain screw (1) and
drain the carburetor.
6. Turn the ignition key to the ON
position to engage the starter.
Engage the starter for only 2-3
seconds.
7. Tighten the carburetor drain screw.
8. Reinstall the spark plug.
=19 N-m
9. Turn the fuel valve on.
10. Attempt to start the engine. If necessary, repeat the drying
procedure.
11. Have the vehicle serviced by your dealer promptly, whether you
succeed in starting it or not.
NOTE: If water has been ingested into the PVT, follow the procedure
for drying out the PVT. See page 59.
