• Using the Flash
Use the Flash when you take pictures at night, indoors, or outdoors in
heavy shadows.
Flash Range: 3 feet ~ 4.9 feet (0.9 meters ~ 1.5 meters)
Press the button repeatedly to scroll through the ash options. The ash
icon that is displayed on the Status LCD screen is the active option. The
default setting is Flash off.

Flash Off. The ash does not re. Use this setting for outdoor
pictures, or where ash is prohibited or may be distracting, or
when shooting toward a reective surface, such as a window or
mirror. If there is not enough light when using this setting, your
pictures will be too dark.
A
Auto Flash. The ash res automatically as needed. Use this
setting to take most pictures.
Flash On. The ash res for every picture. Use it indoors in low
light.
NOTE:
When the camera is set to Flash on and Auto Flash, the icons on the Status
LCD will blink, which indicates the ash is charging, and they will stop blinking
when the ash has charged.
When the battery power level is low and unable to charge the ash, there will
be a low beep tone when you press the ash button.
When the ash is charging, you are not able to take pictures. There will be two
short beeps if you press the shutter button.
