j. Use a carpenter’s level as you install
each curved bottom rail to make sure
it is level.
k. Remove all the wooden stakes from
the ground.
2. Spread out Brick Sand/Stabilizer
a. Make sure any screw or bolt heads
that are to be covered with sand or
styrofoam are covered with duct tape
rst.
b. Make sure all of the trenches are
completelylledwithcrushedlime-
stone (or equivalent).
c. Spreadalayerofnebricksand(no
pebbles)/stabilizer over the founda-
tion area, 2" (5 cm) deep.
Use a rake to make the brick sand/sta-
bilizeratandsmooth.

Spread brick sand/sta-
bilizer over the entire
pool foundation area
inside the base rails.
This provides a protec-
tive surface for the pool
liner to rest on.
