Overview

The Victoria SPA is a portable hydromassage bath designed for four people, suitable for both outdoor and indoor use in a large bathroom. It features an ozonator for water purification and beauty treatment, and an "anti-frost" system that allows operation in freezing temperatures.

Function Description

The SPA Victoria offers hydromassage and airmassage (pearl bath) functions. Hydromassage involves streams of water and air at high pressure from regulated jets, which tones and relaxes the skin, massages, and cleanses. It is recommended for individuals with spine, arthritic, or muscle pains, respiratory system diseases, or gynaecological problems. Airmassage uses heated air pumped into the water by a blower, creating millions of bubbles that actively massage the body, stimulating the circulatory system, relaxing muscles and joints, and soothing the nervous and respiratory systems while improving metabolism.

The bath is equipped with an ozonator that helps keep the water clean and provides effective beauty treatment. Ozonized air has therapeutic and antiseptic properties, supporting hygiene in the SPA, removing stretch marks, cellulite, and wrinkles, improving complexion, treating varicose veins and skin diseases, and alleviating heart and circulatory system problems and menopause-related issues. Ozone also helps keep the water fresh and clear, eliminates unpleasant odors, fungi, and yeast, reducing the frequency of water refilling. The ozonator operates only during filtration, not during hydromassage.

The SPA also includes a filtration system with replaceable inserts and a water treatment unit. Disinfection is ozone-based and can be supplemented with active oxygen agents for pH correction. Underwater halogen lighting with colored overlays (red and blue) enhances the bathing experience.

Usage Features

The SPA Victoria is controlled via an electronic control panel with a display.

  • Pump Control: The hydromassage pump can be switched on/off directly from the control panel. A two-gear pump offers a low gear for filtration and a top gear for massage. The massage mode has an automatic 20-minute timeout.
  • Airmassage Control: Airmassage can be switched on/off via the control panel.
  • Lighting Control: The underwater lighting can be switched on/off. It automatically switches off after 2 hours. Pressing and holding the light button for more than 5 seconds displays water temperature and time.
  • Time Setting: The controller features a real-time clock (RTC) system that retains settings even after power disconnection. The time can be set using up/down arrows on the control panel.
  • Economy Mode: This energy-saving mode keeps the water temperature 10°C (50°F) lower than the set temperature, but not below 15°C (59°F). It can be activated for a specified duration (0 to 24 hours) or continuously.
  • Filtration: The filtration process involves water ozonation, where water is sucked by the skimmer filter, mixed with ozone, and returned to the bath. It consists of two steps, with the first step lasting 1 minute. Filtration duration can be set from 0 to 12 hours.
  • Fast Filtration (Boost): This function runs all pumps for 1 minute at high speed, followed by 45 minutes with the ozonator.
  • Water Temperature Setting: The water temperature can be set between 15°C and 40°C (59°F and 104°F). The controller maintains the set temperature with an accuracy of ± 0.5°C (1°F).
  • "Stand-By" Function: This function blocks access to all devices connected to the controller for 60 minutes, stopping all functions without disconnecting power. It can be ended by waiting 60 minutes, pressing the filter button for 5 seconds, or disconnecting power.
  • Keyboard Locking:
    • Partial Locking: Locks all buttons except jets, light, and air/aux. Activated by pressing and holding the economy button for 3 seconds.
    • Total Locking: Locks all buttons. Activated by pressing and holding the economy button for 5 seconds.
  • Hydromassage Intensity Regulation: Intensity can be increased by turning aeration regulator knobs clockwise (towards "ON") and decreased by turning them anti-clockwise (towards "OFF").
  • Thermal Cover (Optional): Recommended for outdoor use to prevent cooling and keep the bath clean, and for frequent indoor use to prevent excessive evaporation.

Maintenance Features

  • Water Quality: The water should be properly purified and disinfected. Regular checks of water pH and active oxygen concentration are essential.
  • pH Measurement: Use a test container and PHENOLRED tablets. Ideal pH values range from 7.2 to 7.6. If outside this range, use Dinominus granules to decrease pH or Dinoplus granules (ordered separately) to increase pH.
  • Dinofresh Measurement: Use a test container and DPD no 4 tablets to measure active oxygen. Recommended values range from 5.0 to 8.0 mg/litre. Dinofresh granules are used for water disinfection.
  • Cleaning: Dinoclean S is an alkaline liquid chemical for cleaning the bath rim, dissolving fats, and removing calciferous deposits.
  • Filter Insert Replacement: Filter inserts should be cleaned every 2 days and replaced frequently (at least once a year).
  • Acrylic Elements Maintenance: Mild fluids (not containing acetone, abrasive, or caustic substances) should be used for cleaning. Small, shallow scratches can be repaired with a wax car polish. Deeper scratches may require sanding with fine-grain sandpaper (600, 1200, 2000) followed by polishing.
  • Electrical Safety: A differential-current switch with a test button is installed for safety. It is recommended to switch off the electrical supply after emptying the bath to prevent the pump from operating without water.
  • Ventilation: An efficient ventilation system is crucial for indoor installations to manage steam and maintain air humidity. This is not an issue for outdoor installations.
