Your
saw
is
equipped
with
an
adjustable
positive
stop
at
the
45
degree
bevel
position.
After
making
a
preliminary
setting
following
the
above
steps,
make
a
cut
on
a
piece
of
scrap
wood
and
check
the
accuracy
of
the
setting.
Turn
set
screw
(D),
Fig.
7,
inward
or
outward
as
needed
to
produce
a
true
45
degree
bevel
cut.
With
the
set
screw
(D)
accurately
positioned,
the
base
will
return
to
the
same
45
degree
setting
without
need
for
visual
alignment
of
the
graduation
markings.
TO
FOLLOW
LINE
OF
CUT
On
the
right
front
part
of
the
base,
a
beveled
edge
(A),
Fig.
8,
is
provided
to
aid
the
operator
in
guiding
the
saw
parallel
to
the
desired
line
of
cut
when
the
saw
is
set
at
90
degrees
or
at
any
bevel
angle
to
45
degrees.
