Checklist before reporting failures
Current status Things to be checked Measures
It is not cool when the
cooling mode is set.
Is the cooling area of the product suitable
for cooling?
Check if the model is for suitable cooling
(refer to the cooling area listed in the
catalog).
Aren't there many heat sources indoors? Check if the factors raising temperature
is excessive. Cooling efficiency is
decreased when the operating temperature
is excessively high or low.
Is the inlet/outlet of the product blocked?
Check if the inlet of the product is blocked,
and if the filter and heat exchanger is
clean.
Check if the cooling mode is set on the
control panel.
Check if the control panel is set to
ventilation mode. (Cool wind does not
come out when the ventilation mode is
set.)
It doesn’t work.
Check the power plug connection. Check if the power plug is connected,
and if the power supply is separated from
other appliances.
Hasn’t the circuit breaker of the main
power been tripped?
Check if the circuit breaker of the main
power terminal box has been tripped.
Is there a power failure? Check if other home appliances are
operating normally.
There is a lot of noise
during operation.
Is the product installed on a flat surface? Check if the surface on which the product
is installed is flat.
Is there a lot of noise inside the body of
the Portable Outdoor Unit?
There may be a problem with the compres-
sor. Turn the product off immediately and
contact the customer service center.
Check if there is any foreign matter in the
operating fan of the product.
If there is a foreign matter in the operating
fan, remove itr.
Check the air volume. The stronger the wind, the louder the
noise.
Dew condensation
appears on the
Portable Indoor Unit.
Isn’t the humidity too high inside? It is not a malfunction, but a natural
phenomenon caused by high humidity in
the air. Wipe it off with a dry towel.
