Adjusting the Drag Stake Position:

2 Move he wheels up or down
NOTE he upper posi ion is for cul iva ing he lower
posi ion is for ranspor

Starting a Flooded Engine
1 Place he cul iva or on a fla surface
2 Move he igni ion swi ch o he ON posi ion
3 Move he choke lever o he ‘run/ warm s ar posi ion
(see Figure 7)
4 Hold he hro le rigger fully depressed in fas posi ion
(See Figure 10)
5 Pull he recoil s ar er handle repea edly un il engine
s ar s and runs This could require pulling he recoil
s ar er handle many imes depending on how badly he
uni is flooded
6 f he engine s ill does no s ar allow he uni o si for
abou 15 minu es and repea s eps 1 5
No e his cul iva or is equipped wi h a cen rifugal clu ch so he ines will no urn un il he engine speed is increased
To increase he engine speed lif up on he hro le rigger (See Figure 10)
To slow he engine down slowly release he hro le rigger Comple ely releasing he hro le lever will re urn he engine o
idle and will s op he ines from ro a ing
1 Release he hro le rigger and allow he engine o idle for a few momen s (See Figure 10)
2 Push and hold he igni ion swi ch o he ‘s op posi ion (See Figure 6)
