Electricial Connection:
Your PowerShot Pro
®
electric stapler and
brad nail gun operates on 120V, 60Hz,
alternating current. The outlet should be
rated for at least 15 amps.
Trigger Operation:
The trigger is located on the bottom of the
handle. Each pull of the trigger will result in
one staple or brad nail being fired. Do not
have finger on trigger when connecting the
unit to the power supply.

To Staple or Nail (Fig. 5 )
1. Make sure trigger is locked. Plug stapler
into wall.
2. Hold stapler firmly against work surface.
Unlock trigger.
3. Squeeze trigger, stapler will fire.
4. For added staple driving depth, place
palm of free hand on the top of the stapler
and apply pressure downward. This will
help increase staple driving depth.
To clear a jammed staple or
brad nail:
The tool should not jam if used properly,
keeping the tool clean and using the correct
staples and brad nails. If a jam should
occur, unplug the tool and unload any
staples and nails in the staple chamber.
Check for any jammed staples or nails and
remove. Reload gun and close chamber.
Use of Extension cords:
Make sure your extension cord is in good
condition. When using an extension cord,
be sure to use one heavy enough to carry
the current your product will draw. An
undersized cord will cause a drop in line
voltage resulting in loss of power and
overheating. Table 1 shows the correct size
to use depending on cord length and
nameplate ampere rating. If in doubt, use
the next heavier gage. The smaller the
gage number the heavier the cord.
IMPORTANT:
POINT THE GUN AWAY FROM
YOURSELF AND OTHERS
at all
times and especially when opening
the track to clear a jammed staple.
As the track is opened, the
jammed staple may be shot out
unexpectedly.
