Why Powersmart DB2322S Lawn Mower engine fails to start?

  The Powersmart Lawn Mower engine may fail to start due to several reasons: the engine start/stop lever may be disengaged (engage it); the spark plug wire may be disconnected (connect it); the fuel tank may be empty or contain stale fuel (fill the tank with clean, fresh gasoline); the engine may not be primed (press the primer bulb); the spark plug may be faulty (clean, adjust the gap, or replace it); the fuel line may be blocked (clean the fuel line); or the engine may be flooded (wait a few minutes to restart, without priming).

  An erratic running Powersmart Lawn Mower engine can be caused by a loose spark plug wire (connect and tighten it), a blocked fuel line or stale fuel (clean the fuel line and fill the tank with fresh gasoline), or water or dirt in the fuel system (drain the fuel tank and refill with fresh fuel). For a dirty air filter, please refer to the engine manual.
