Why does my Powersmart Snow Blower engine fail to start?

  Your Powersmart Snow Blower engine might fail to start due to several reasons: the spark plug wire may be disconnected (connect it to the spark plug); the spark plug might be faulty (clean, adjust the gap, or replace it); the engine could be flooded with fuel (discontinue choke or primer use, clean or replace the spark plug); the safety key may not be inserted (insert it fully); the choke may not be in the START position (move it to START); the fuel might be old or stale (empty and clean the fuel tank and carburetor, refill with fresh gasoline); the fuel system could be blocked (clean the fuel system); or the extension cord isn't properly attached to the electric starter terminal (re-insert the extension cord).

Ensure the spark plug wire is securely connected and tightened. Check the spark plug and clean, adjust the gap, or replace it if faulty. If the engine oil is overfilled, drain it to the proper level, ensuring it's not above the top two threads of the lower fill plug. Conversely, if the engine oil level is low or empty, add oil.
