  If your Predator Engines Engine stops suddenly, consider these possible causes: * Check the engine oil level and fill to the proper level if it's low. Remember to check the oil before each use. * Ensure the fuel tank is not empty and is filled with fresh 87+ octane unleaded gasoline, avoiding gasoline with more than 10% ethanol. * The fuel tank cap could be defective, creating a vacuum. Test or replace the cap. * Check if the spark plug cap is disconnected or improperly connected and secure it. * For a faulty magneto, it is recommended to have a qualified technician service it.

  If your Predator Engines Engine is misfiring, it could be due to several reasons: * Check the spark plug cap to ensure it's not loose and the wire connections are secure. * Inspect the spark plug for incorrect gap or damage; re-gap or replace it as needed. * A defective spark plug cap can also cause misfires, so consider replacing it. * Old or low-quality gasoline can be a culprit; use only fresh 87+ octane unleaded gasoline, and avoid gasoline with more than 10% ethanol. * Incorrect compression may be the cause. Diagnose and repair compression. (Refer to the Engine will not start: COMPRESSION RELATED section.)
