  If your Predator Portable Generator stops suddenly, it could be due to several reasons: low oil shutdown, an empty fuel tank or impure fuel, a defective fuel tank cap, a faulty magneto, or a disconnected spark plug cap. Ensure the engine oil is filled to the proper level and that you check it before every use. Fill the fuel tank with fresh 87+ octane unleaded gasoline, avoiding gasoline with more than 10% ethanol. You can test or replace the fuel tank cap. Also, make sure the spark plug cap is securely connected.

  There are several reasons why your Predator Portable Generator might not start. It could be fuel-related, such as no fuel in the tank, the fuel valve being closed, the choke not being in the START position, using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol, low quality or old gasoline, the carburetor not being primed, dirty fuel passageways, a stuck carburetor needle, too much fuel in the chamber, or a clogged fuel filter. Try filling the fuel tank and opening the fuel valve. If the engine is cold, move the choke to the START position. Use fresh 87+ octane unleaded gasoline and ensure it doesn't contain more than 10% ethanol. You can also try pulling the Starter Handle to prime the carburetor, cleaning out fuel passageways, gently tapping the carburetor float chamber, or replacing the fuel filter....
