CAUTION – if the cooker boils dry it will overheat
and may cause the centre safety plug to blow. If
the base has bulged or warped, this cannot be
repaired and is excluded from the Prestige
Quality Guarantee.

If the SSD becomes dislodged or lost

Loosen the screws and remove the nut on the
vent tube to remove the handle. Be sure to
attach the handle and vent tube correctly and
tighten afterwards for normal use. The pressure
cooker will not come to pressure if the SSD is
missing or damaged.

How to replace the Safety Plug 91801

1. If the Safety Plug of your cooker has
fused, do not try to repair it.

3. Remove the fused safety plug from
your cooker by pulling it from the
inside of the lid.

4. Now remove the blue grommet from
the lid.

5. Insert the new blue grommet from the
inside of the lid ensuring that it fits
snugly and the thicker part is
protruding.

6. Firmly insert the new metal plug from
the underside of the lid.
