8. Press and hold the left or right button (depending on side of installation) to move the hoist
outwards, steady the scooter/chair during operation and guide it smoothly out of the vehicle.
9. Ensure there is clearance for the hoist to swing fully outwards
10. Press and hold the down button until the scooter/chair is grounded and there is some slack on the
lifting straps.
WARNING! Do not continue to hold the down button after the scooter/chair is grounded.
11. Release the key hole plates

