  If your Pride Lifting System isn't working, check the following: * Is the handset light on? If not, is the unit switched on? * If the unit is switched on, but there's no light, is it plugged in and switched on? * If it's plugged in but still doesn't work, is the battery dead? * Is a fuse blown? (The fuse is next to the battery). * If the fuse hasn't blown but there's still no power, visually inspect all connections and wires to ensure nothing is cut, crushed, or loose.

What to do if the handset on my Pride MILFORD Lifting Systems does not work?

  If the handset of your Pride Lifting System isn't working, check if the handset connector has come out and replace it if needed. Also, check if the connector at the other end of the handset cord has come out of the socket and replace it if necessary. If the cord to the handset has been damaged, use the emergency Up/Down buttons to operate. The emergency buttons are indicated by the red arrow.

The maximum safe working load is 330lbs (150kg). * If the Milford is extended, refer to the technical section to check the lift capacity for the setting. Also, ensure that the vehicle’s battery is charged.

  If your Pride Lifting System won't lift high enough, ensure the lifting arm is extended to the correct length. This should only be done by a qualified person. Also, check that the straps on the sling are set to the correct length; they should be set as short as possible.
