1. Turn o the appliance and unplug it from
the power socket.
2. Remove the lter casing from the rear of
the appliance to gain easy access to the
water tank.
3. Insert ice cubes and/or the two ice packs
into the water tank.
4. Return the lter casing to the rear of the
appliance.
Notes:
• If the water level is too low three beeps
will sound and the cooling mode indicator
will continue to ash until cooling mode is
turned o and/or the water tank has been
relled with water.
• Place the ice packs in a freezer for at
least four hours prior to use.
• Do not ll the water tank over the max
line or below the min line.
3. The timer indicator lights will blink to
conrm a timer has been set then remain
on.
4. Select the desired settings prior to turn-
on.
5. To cancel the turn-on timer press the
power button twice.
Setting a turn-o timer:
1. Ensure the appliance is plugged in and
the power socket turned on.
2. Press the power button to turn the
appliance on.
3. Press the timer button to set the desired
time (one to seven hours) until turn-o.
4. The timer indicator lights will remain on to
conrm a timer has been set.
5. Select the desired settings prior to turn-o.
6. To cancel the turn-o timer press the
timer button until no timer indicator lights
are showing or turn the appliance o.
COOLING MODE BUTTON
Activates the evaporative cooling mechanism
reducing the temperature of the surrounding
air.
Filling The Water Tank
For the cooling mode to function the
appliances water tank requires lling. Ensure
fresh water is added to the water tank prior to
every use.
To ll the water tank:
1. Turn o the appliance and unplug it from
the power socket.
2. Open the water tank ller.
3. Fill the water tank with fresh water to the
max line.
For enhanced cooling add ice cubes and/or
the two ice packs to the water tank also.
