CLEANING
General Cleaning
Turn o the appliance and unplug it from the
power socket. Use a soft, dry cloth to clean
away any dust, or debris from the exterior
surface of the appliance.
Air Filter Cleaning
Clean the appliance’s air lter once every two
weeks.
The air lter is located within the lter casing
behind the blue honeycomb evaporative lter.
To access the air lter:
1. Gently remove the lter casing from the
rear of the appliance.
2. Remove the honeycomb evaporative
lter from in front of the air lter and then
remove the air lter from the lter casing.
3. Use a rm brush and/or vacuum cleaner
to clean the air lter of any dust and
particles.
4. Return the air lter and honeycomb
evaporative lter to the lter casing and
then the entire lter casing to the rear of
the appliance.
Water Tank Cleaning
The water tank should be cleaned every few
weeks to prevent the growth of mould, mildew,
and bacteria.
• Empty the water tank.
• Use mild detergent in conjunction with
warm water and a soft cloth to clean the
water tank.
• Dry the water tank using a soft cloth.
Note: Do not use boiling water to clean the
water tank.
STORAGE
For long-term storage:
1. Empty and clean the water tank.
2. Run the appliance in fan-only mode on the
low fan speed setting for four hours to allow
the interior of the appliance to fully dry.
3. Turn o the appliance and unplug the
power cord.
4. Remove the battery from the remote
control.
5. Cover the appliance and all accessories
with a waterproof covering and store
in a safe, dry place, out of the reach of
children.
RECYCLING & DISPOSAL
The packaging of your new product has a
recycle mark on it. Please dispose
of it as recycled paper. Waste electrical
products should not be disposed of
with general household waste. This is to
prevent the possible harm to the
environment and human well-being. Contact
your local council or
government for information regarding the
collection schemes in your area.
