Overview

The ProBreeze Model PB-AC01 is a 9000BTU Smart Portable Air Conditioner designed for indoor household use. It functions as an air conditioner, a fan, and a dehumidifier, offering versatile climate control for rooms with a floor area larger than 10m². The appliance uses R290 refrigerant gas (195g), which complies with European environmental directives.

Function Description

The device offers four main operating modes:

  • Cooling Mode: Ideal for cooling a room in hot weather. Users can set a desired temperature between 16°C (60°F) and 30°C (80°F). The appliance will cool if the room temperature exceeds the set temperature; otherwise, cooling pauses, but the fan continues to operate. For this mode, the heat exhaust hose must be connected to discharge hot air outside.
  • Fan-Only Mode: The appliance operates at a set fan speed, blowing cold air into the room. The room temperature is displayed, and the heat exhaust hose is not required for this mode.
  • Dry (Dehumidifying) Mode: Suitable for reducing room humidity in humid and damp conditions. The appliance dehumidifies if the room temperature is 17°C (62°F) or greater, operating at a low fan speed. If the room temperature drops to 15°C (59°F) or less, dehumidifying stops, but the fan continues.
  • Sleep Mode: This mode reduces energy consumption during cooling. It can be activated via the remote control's sleep button or by pressing both the timer and down buttons on the control panel. In sleep mode, the set temperature automatically increases by 1°C (1°F) after two hours, and again after another two hours. The fan speed also changes to low if not already set. The appliance continues to run until turned off.

The device also features a Timer Button for automatic turn-on or turn-off in one-hour increments (1-24 hours).

  • Compressor Delay Protection: To protect the compressor, there is a three-minute delay between occurrences of the compressor turning off and on, except for the initial activation.
  • Anti-Frost Protection: If the internal pipe temperature drops too low, the unit pauses, displays "E4," and activates anti-frost protection, making control panel buttons (except power) inactive. Operation resumes once the pipe temperature rises above 8°C (46.4°F).
