INTENDED USE
The gasoline trimmer (hereinafter referred to as the trimmer) is intended
for non-professional use for mowing grass on lawns and small lawns. It
can be used to care for lawns in a suburban or household plot, for mowing
grass on lawns with a flat surface in compliance with all the requirements
of the Operating Manual.
The trimmer is designed in such a way that it is safe and reliable if operated
in accordance with the Manual. Before you start using the trimmer, read
and understand the Operating Manual. Failure to do this may result in injury
or damage to the trimmer.
ATTENTION!
The use of the trimmer for any other purposes not provided for in this
manual is a violation of the conditions of safe operation and terminates
the warranty obligations of the supplier. The manufacturer and supplier are
not responsible for damages resulting from the use of the trimmer for other
purposes. Failure of the trimmer when used for other purposes is not a
warranty case.
ATTENTION!
Use consumables recommended by the manufacturer and original
spare parts for repair and maintenance. The use of non-recommended
consumables, non-original spare parts deprives you of the right to warranty
service of the trimmer.
GENERAL SAFETY REGULATIONS
Please read this manual carefully. Familiarize yourself with the trimmer
before starting operation. Familiarize yourself with the operation of the
controls. Know what to do in emergency situations. Pay special attention
to the information preceded by the following headings:
WARNING!
Failure to comply with the guidelines may result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION!
Failure to comply with the requirements of the manual may result in
moderate injuries.
ATTENTION!
Failure to comply with the requirements of the manual will result in damage
to the product.
NOTE!
Indicates information that will be useful when using the trimmer.
Before start working for the first time, get an instruction from the seller
or a specialist on how to properly handle the trimmer, if necessary, take
a training course.
Minors are not allowed to work with the trimmer, with the exception of
persons over 16 years old undergoing supervised training.
Operate the trimmer in good physical and mental condition. Do not use the
trimmer in a painful or tired state, or under the influence of any substances,
medications that can affect vision, physical and mental condition.
WARNING!
Do not operate the trimmer in a state of alcoholic or narcotic intoxication or
after taking drastic remedies.
1. Work only in the daytime or in good artificial light.
2. The trimmer may be transferred or given for temporary use only
to those persons who are familiar with this model and trained to
handle it. In this case, an operating manual must be attached.
3. Do not start working without preparing the work area and
determining an unobstructed path in case of evacuation.
4. It is not recommended to operate the trimmer alone. Make sure that
someone is within earshot while working, in case you need help.
WARNING!
1. In case of adverse weather (rain, snow, ice, wind, hail), it is
recommended to postpone the work – there is an increased risk of
an accident!
2. Strangers, children and animals should be kept at a safe distance
outside the work area. It is forbidden to be closer than 15 m from a
working trimmer.
3. Check the trimmer before use to make sure that all handles,
fasteners and safety devices are in place and in good condition.
4. Keep the trimmer in a closed place out of the reach of children.
5. Work in tight-fitting clothes. Do not wear loose clothing and jewelry,
as they can get into the moving parts of the trimmer.
6. Wear strong protective gloves. Gloves reduce the transmission of
vibration to your hands. Prolonged exposure to vibration can cause
numbness of the fingers and other diseases.
7. Wear endurable shoes with non-slip bottoms for greater stability. Do
not work with the trimmer barefoot or in open shoes.
8. Always use safety glasses when working.
9. In order to avoid damage to the hearing organs, it is recommended
to use protective headphones while working with the device.
10. Do not make changes to the design of the trimmer. The
manufacturer and supplier disclaims responsibility for the resulting
11. consequences (injuries and damage to the product).
12. Always use common sense. It is impossible to foresee all the
situations that you may face with. If you feel insecure in any
situation, ask a specialist for advice: a dealer, a mechanic from an
authorized service center, an experienced user.
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS DURING OPERATION
Fire safety
Fuel is a highly flammable and explosive substance. Do not smoke, do not
allow the presence of sparks and flames in the fuel storage area and when
refueling the engine. Before refueling, turn off the engine and make sure
that it has cooled down.
Do not start the engine if there is a smell of fuel.
Do not operate the device if fuel has been spilled during refueling. Before
starting, thoroughly wipe the engine surfaces from accidentally spilled fuel
and dry.
Electric safety
Do not start the engine when an ignition system malfunction causes
breakdowns and sparking.
Chemical safety
Avoid contact with fuel. Possible irritation of the skin, mucous membrane
of the eyes, upper respiratory tract, or allergic reactions with individual
intolerance. Frequent contacts with fuel can lead to acute inflammation
and chronic eczema.
Never inhale exhaust gases. Exhaust gases contain carbon monoxide,
which is colorless and odorless, and is very poisonous. Carbon monoxide
entering the respiratory system can lead to loss of consciousness or death.
Never start the engine indoors or in poorly ventilated areas.
Physical safety
1. Always stand firmly on the ground, do not lose your balance. Before
starting work, look around to see if there are any obstacles on the
site that you can trip over and fall.
2. Hold the device with both hands.
3. Make sure that the legs /arms are not located near moving parts.
4. Always keep a safe distance from other people who work with you.
5. Take extra care when you change the direction of movement.
6. Take special care when performing work in cramped conditions (in
a restricted area).
7. Do not touch the hot muffler and the cylinder fins, as this can lead
to serious burns.
8. Turn off the engine before moving the device from one place to
another.
9. Carry out all maintenance and repair work with the engine turned
off.
10. To avoid accidental starting of the engine, disconnect the wire
from the
11. spark plug before performing maintenance work.
Technical safety
Do not operate the device if the cylinder fins and muffler are dirty.
Before starting the engine, make sure that the working parts of the device
do not come into contact with foreign objects.
Environmental safety
Remember the need to protect the environment and ecology. Before
draining any liquids, find out the correct way to dispose of them. Observe
the rules of environmental protection when disposing of engine oil, fuel,
filters.
