When the TB switch is disabled for a given input, that input will be disabled
automatically for security reasons (the ON button is disabled by default). This
way, this input cannot enter the program line unintentionally. This default
behaviour can be changed by the user. For more information about this, please
read chapter III.6.
III.4 Configuring the audio input matrixes for the Program and the
TalkBack audio streams
Quantum-W provides three internal stereo audio buses: PROGRAM bus (PGM),
TALKBACK bus (TB1) and INTERNATIONAL SOUND bus (IntS). PGM bus is
routed to the Program stream, TB1 is routed to Talkback stream and IntS is
routed directly to the headphones only.
The activation of a TB routing button routes its audio input to the proper internal
audio bus. Deactivation of the routing buttons returns the audio input signal to
the PGM bus (by default).
The input ON button enables or mute this input for any internal bus.
In addition to the assignation of one input to the corresponding audio stream, it
is possible to define if that input will be mixed on the left, right or both channels
of the outgoing stream.
Walking thru Menu->Audio->Input Matrix’ leads to configuration of each internal
bus.
For the sake of matching labels & function of external buttons with
the configuration menu following equivalences are applicable:
PGM bus  “TB switch Off”
TB1 bus “TB switch On”
