8. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR
VOLUME
When configuring the unit to irrigate and fertilize in
volume units, m
3
and liters respectively, the following
changes in the “functions” of the controller take place:
8.1. PARAMETERS
In the irrigation programming by time, the pre-
irrigation is calculated automatically from the entered
irrigation value, as the irrigation and the fertilizer are
applied on the same base, which is the minute.
By volume, the pre-irrigation and post-irrigation val-
ues have to be entered in “m
3
”.
It will start to fertilize once the irrigation has finished
the pre-irrigation plus the pre-mixing time, if there is one,
and it will may sure that the fertilizer application does not
overlap with the post-irrigation volume, in this case, the
unit would stop fertilizing and the anomaly would be
recorded.
The volume units in fertilizer parameters are:
- Pre-irrigation 0 to 999 m
3
- Post-irrigation 0 to 99 m
3
- Separation between fertilizers 0 to 99 m
3
The volume units in filter cleaning parameters are:
- Irrigation volume between cleaning cycles:
0 to 9999 m
3
.
In various parameters, the irrigation and the fertili-
zation are configured plus the value of the counters (as
already explained in section 6.1.).
8.2. PROGRAMS
The differences in an irrigation program by volume
are:
-Irrigation units 0 to 999 m
3
-Fertilizer units 0 to 999 liters

The modality of parallel fertilization can not be
done in volume units.
8.3. TOTALS
In the totals, the information will be shown in m
3
units for the irrigation and in liters for the fertilizers.
8.4. CONSULTATION
For every sector being irrigated, it will display the
quantity of cubic meters left to irrigate and the liters of
fertilizer which are still to be applied.

8.5. ANOMALIES
If no pulses are received from the irrigation water
counter for more than ten minutes, while any program is
working, the program will be stopped and the following
anomaly will appear.

If the controller is fertilizing and no pulses are re-
ceived from the volumetric fertilizer counter, for more
than ten minutes, the fertilization program being carried
out would be stopped and the following anomaly would
be recorded.
