This document describes the Project E Beauty LED Light Therapy Mask (Model No. PE730), a facemark-shaped device designed for home use, utilizing Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) to emit energy in the red, blue, and infrared regions of the spectrum for skin treatment.
Function Description
The mask incorporates a total of 36 LEDs. The red light, with wavelengths centered at 635-644nm and infrared light with wavelengths centered at 845-855nm, is used to treat wrinkles on the face. The blue light, with wavelengths centered at 430-445nm, and red light with wavelengths centered at 635-644nm, are used to treat mild to moderate acne on the face.
The device operates with two treatment modes:
- Mode 1 (Red Light + Infrared): Emits red and infrared light to treat wrinkles.
- Mode 2 (Blue Light + Red Light): Emits blue and red light to treat mild to moderate acne.
To operate the device, the user presses the Power button (F) for 1 second to turn it on. Pressing the Power button again for 2 seconds switches between the treatment modes. The device has a continuous working time of 12 minutes and powers off automatically.
The mask includes an integrated module with a Power button (F) and an LED module (E) that emits red lights. The user wears the device over the face, like a pair of glasses, and presses the Power button on the integrated module for 1 second to initiate the treatment.

First use and preparation:
- Remove the device and USB power cord from the box.
- Before using the device for the first time, fully charge the battery, which may take up to 2 hours.
- To charge the device, insert one end of the USB power cord into the USB Charging port on the device and the other end into a standard 5V USB port. The USB charging port is only used for charging.

- Blue, Constant: Battery is charging

Light sensitivity test:
Before using, perform a light sensitivity test on a small, less sensitive area of skin (e.g., forearm) for 3 minutes. Repeat this 3-minute treatment on the same area of your arm. Wait 24 hours. If no adverse reaction occurs, proceed with treatment. Discontinue use if pain, discomfort, or skin redness occurs.
Working mode selection:
- Mode 1: Suitable for people with wrinkles on the face.
- Mode 2: Suitable for people with mild to moderate acne on the face.
Instructions for use:
- Clean the device surface with a soft, dry, and wiped-free cloth. Ensure your face is clean, dry, and free of any oil or cosmetics before using the device.
- Wear the device as wearing glasses and adjust the position for a comfortable fit. Ensure the eye shield completely covers your eyes to prevent LED lights from entering.
- Press and hold the Power button for 1 second on the left side of the temples to turn on the device.
- The default setting is Mode 1 (Red Light + Infrared). Press the Power button again to select the desired mode for the mask.
- Start your LED treatment. The LED light will automatically turn off after 12 minutes. The light emitting surface temperature is less than 48°C during use.
- Do not look directly at the light emitted by the LEDs while the device is in operation. Excessive exposure to LED light can cause eye damage. It is recommended to close your eyes as much as possible during treatment.
- Apply a small amount of moisturizing cream or serum onto the treated area after each treatment.
Treatment time:
- Initial treatment course:
- Mode 1 (Red Light + IR Light): 12 minutes daily for 60 days.
- Mode 2 (Blue Light + Red Light): 12 minutes daily for 30 days.
- Maintenance regime: After achieving initial treatment results, reduce use to 2 times per week for 12 minutes daily.
Maintenance Features
Cleaning:
- Unplug the device properly by holding the plug and removing it from the USB outlet.
- Clean the device surface with a clean soft cloth dampened with clean tap water or distilled water after each use.
- Immediately dry the surface with a clean dry soft cloth any time it comes into contact with moisture, chemicals, or water.
- Always keep the device clean. Store the device in a clean and dry place.
- NEVER clean the device or any of its parts with running water.
- NEVER operate or charge the device if you suspect that water is inside the device or if water is on any surface of the device.
- DO NOT open or dismantle the device, as there are no user-serviceable parts inside.
- Take care not to allow the device to be subjected to any pressure, other than what is needed to use, charge, and clean the device. Excessive force may damage or weaken the bulb and other components.
- DO NOT use alcohol or volatile organic solvents (e.g., paint thinner or nail polish remover) to clean the unit, as these substances can weaken and/or permanently damage the device's components.
