Second, the electrodes may be too close together; reposition them. Third, the electrodes or lead wires could be damaged or worn, requiring replacement. Fourth, the electrode active area size may be too small; replace them with ones that have an active area no less than 16.0 cm2(4cm*4cm). Finally, ensure you are operating the device according to the manual.

  If your skin becomes red and/or you feel a stabbing pain when using the ProMed Medical Equipment, it could be due to several reasons: * Using the electrodes on the same site every time. Re-position the electrodes. If at any time you feel pain or discomfort stop use immediately. * The electrodes aren’t stuck onto the skin properly. Ensure the electrode is stuck securely on the skin. * The electrodes are dirty. Clean the electrode pads with a damp, lint free cloth or replace new electrode pads. * The electrode/probe surface is scratched. Replace probe/against a new electrode.

  The intermittent output from your ProMed Medical Equipment may be caused by the lead wires. First, verify the connection is secure. Insure firmly. Second, turn down the intensity and rotate the lead wires in the socket 90°. If the output is still intermittent, replace the lead wire. Third, If still intermittent after replacing lead wire, a component may have failed. Call the repair department.
